The main objective of WP 2.06 was to set up central knowledge centers for testing, certification, performance and failure date collection, etc., but also for acting as a “helpdesk” to have optimum electrical output of all Indonesian Geothermal Power Plants and reducing the duration and frequency of time for overhaul.
To obtain this the following issues were addressed:
- development of a center of excellence for geothermal power plants focusing on scaling, corrosion issues and material selection
- development of inspection technologies for geothermal power plants capability in this center of excellence
- analyzing equipment and procedures for independent failure analysis (legal issues)
In this work package, several reports were produced.
