The University of Indonesia (UI; Universitas Indonesia) is a state university in Depok, West Java and Salemba, Jakarta, Indonesia and the university with the oldest (1851 founded) tertiary-level educational institution in Indonesia. The University of Indonesia (UI) offers a Master Program in Geothermal Exploration intended to provide deepening of knowledge and expertise (skill) for the geothermal exploration sector in human resources who are currently or will be working in the geothermal industry or other government institutions.
The group organizing this course is specialized in geophysical methods including magnetotelluric and resistivity measurements. UI has a close collaboration with the University of Lampung (UNILA) which will be a regional university preferred partner to the consortium. The University of Lampung has a undergraduate/technical program for geothermal which may be used to develop a technician level program.
